Morgan Klym

Hi, my name is Morgan Klym. I have a Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences from Carleton University, and I’m currently doing my Master’s in Epidemiology and Applied Health Research at Dalhousie University in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology.
During my undergrad, my research focused on mortality statistics in Canada, specifically multiple-cause-of-death data, which gave me a strong foundation in working with large datasets and exploring the complexities of chronic diseases and causes of death. My undergrad thesis looked at the connection between cause of death and prior cardiovascular disease diagnoses.
My research interests include chronic diseases, stroke care (both primary and secondary), preventative health care, and improving access to health care for Canadians.
