The Health Care Optimization and Analytics Lab (H-COAL) is a research lab in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Dalhousie University. We are conducting world-leading research in the area of health care.  Our research aims to improve patient outcomes through the optimization of health systems and the application of data analytics.

The mission of H-COAL is to discover novel processes that will make substantive improvements to the health care system and ultimately improvement patient outcomes. We are working in many areas including Stroke care.
