Hello, my name is Dr. Aymane Sahli, I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. Noreen Kamal. My research focus is on optimizing stroke healthcare systems using HCI research methods and how to bridge the gap between HCD and Health stroke registries.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree (BA.) in Communication Studies (in 2018) from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane. My Bachelor’s capstone focused on rebranding a digital experience for Dubai Cares, a global philanthropic organization that advocates for children's rights. I completed my PhD in Engineering Design (in 2023) at Brunel University London exploring the topic of Project Management within Information Technology Projects and how design-based tools can be used to assist with project cognizance, and help attain project success and decrease failure risk within complex projects.
My research interests encompass Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human-Computer Design (HCD), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Project Management (PM), User Experience Design (UXD) and User Interface Design (UID).
I provide both academic and industrial experience as a UX/UI designer, working with B2B and B2C Brands namely Aidrivers (2019-2020), Else London (2018-2019) and Dubai Cares (2017- 2018).
